These terms govern your use of Jubarte and of this website, provided by Jandira Technologies, LLC.

License

Jubarte is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license to use the app is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies in addition to these terms.

Purchase and subscription

Jubarte 0.7.0, the version on the Mac App Store today, is a one-time purchase of $99.99. From its next release, Jubarte is a free download with 5 free uses, each a redline or a PDF conversion that you open, show in Finder or save (a preview in the app's window is free), and continued use is offered as an auto-renewable annual subscription through the Apple App Store, on the terms below.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in System Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Jubarte only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to circumvent its licensing or interfere with its verification service.

This website

The browser demo runs the open-source jubarte-redlines engine, licensed under the GNU AGPL-3.0. The benchmark pages show documents from the docx-corpus collection, made available under the Open Data Commons Attribution License, with the attribution notice published alongside the files on Hugging Face. Benchmark figures are project-maintained and reproducible, not a neutral third-party benchmark. Please do not automate requests against this site; it answers more than 60 page requests a minute from one address with a “slow down” page.

Jubarte and this website are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. While Jubarte aims to produce accurate redlines, you are responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jandira Technologies, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Jubarte or this website.
