Privacy Policy

Jandira Technologies, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates Jubarte, a macOS application that compares Microsoft Word documents and produces tracked-changes redlines, and this website, jubarte.pro. This policy explains what we do and don’t collect.

Documents stay on your device

Jubarte compares your documents locally, on your Mac. The contents of the documents you open are never uploaded to us or to any third party, and we never see them.

Subscription data

Jubarte 0.7.0, on the Mac App Store today, is a one-time purchase. From its next release, Jubarte offers an auto-renewable subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Apple processes all payments — we never receive your payment card details or your Apple Account credentials. To verify and manage your subscription, our verification service receives from Apple a cryptographically-signed transaction record containing subscription identifiers only: transaction ID, original transaction ID, product identifier, purchase and expiration dates, and the environment (sandbox or production). We store this entitlement state to confirm your access. Apple also sends our verification service signed App Store Server Notifications when a subscription renews, lapses, enters a billing grace period, is cancelled or is refunded; we use them only to update that same record (its expiration, grace-period and refund dates, and whether it renews automatically). This record does not contain your name, email address, or any document content.

No tracking or advertising

Jubarte contains no third-party advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

This website

• The demo and the app preview run in your browser. Documents you drop on the Demo or App pages are read and compared by WebAssembly inside your browser tab. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else, and they are gone when you close the tab.
• Request limits. Cloudflare serves this site. To keep it available, our worker counts page requests per IP address and answers more than 60 in a minute with a “slow down” page; the count is kept by Cloudflare for that minute only. Cloudflare’s request logs (time, page, status and similar metadata) are kept for a few days for troubleshooting.
• No cookies, no analytics. The site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts. Its fonts and scripts are served from jubarte.pro.
• Links elsewhere. Benchmark files link to Hugging Face, source code to GitHub, and the app to the Mac App Store. When you follow those links, those services’ own privacy policies apply.
• Contact form. The contact form only drafts an email in your own mail app. We receive what you choose to send.

Services you reach through us

Jubarte’s downloads and files live with these services. You deal with them directly when you follow a link to them. They may count downloads, but they send us nothing about you.

Their terms, incorporated by reference

Where you use a service named above through Jubarte or this website, that provider’s privacy policy and terms, as linked above, are incorporated into this policy by reference, to the extent they apply to that use. Examples are buying through the App Store, loading this site through Cloudflare, or downloading a release, crate, wheel, package or benchmark file. Their documents govern what each provider does with your information; this policy governs what we do with it.

Data retention

We retain subscription records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You may contact us at support@jubarte.pro to request access to, or deletion of, the subscription record associated with your Apple transaction. To cancel your subscription, open System Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your Mac.

Children

Jubarte is a professional productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision; on October 1, 2026 we added the “This website” section, stated that the current version is a one-time purchase, and described the App Store Server Notifications our verification service receives; on October 2, 2026 we raised the page limit from 10 to 60 requests a minute, linked each provider’s privacy policy and terms, named the services our downloads live on, and incorporated their terms by reference where they apply.
