/ DOWNLOAD · JUBARTE FOR MAC 0.7.0
Redlines on your Mac, as Word’s own.
Drop the draft and the counterparty’s turn of it; get a redline with real tracked changes that Word accepts, rejects and filters by author. Your documents never leave your Mac, and Microsoft Word is not needed to make the redline.
On Windows, or on a firm laptop where you cannot install anything? The browser demo runs the same engine in the tab: nothing to install, nothing uploaded.
The Mac app and the CLI install on a computer. Send yourself the link and pick it up there.

For developers and IT
the engine inside the appThe Mac app runs the open jubarte-redlines engine. The same Rust core ships as a CLI, a crate, a Python wheel and a wasm package, for pipelines and for machines that are not Macs. Every engine release is tagged on GitHub with a SHA256SUMS file.

AGPL-3.0-only · released 2026-09-30cargo install

cargo add jubarte-redlines \ --no-default-features
Import path is jubarte::. Default features add the CLI, mimalloc and self-update; library consumers opt in deliberately. unsafe_code = "deny".
docs.rs/jubarte-redlines ↗pip install
pip install jubarte-redlines
PyO3 / maturin abi3 wheels for manylinux x86_64 + aarch64 and macOS x86_64 + arm64. Low-level byte API plus the immutable Document API.
pypi.org/project/jubarte-redlines ↗npm install
npm install jubarte-wasm
Exports for Node and the browser, full and slim (no PDF renderer). jubarte-wasm/web-slim compares on the Demo page; jubarte-wasm/web renders its PDFs.
npmjs.com/package/jubarte-wasm ↗Prebuilt files for v0.10.1
SHA256SUMS.txt ↓CLI archives ship the renderer’s supplemental fonts (Roboto Condensed and Selawik, with their notices); scripts/install.sh --fonts-only installs just those. Point JUBARTE_FONT_DIR at your own corporate fonts for closer PDF parity. Once installed, jubarte self-update --check keeps the CLI current. Release page ↗
